Like The Tinted Windows In This Mustang Commercial?
The Federal Govt. and Penndot says you can't have them!
Here is the deal on passenger cars.
The United States Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard Forbids passenger cars from coming off the assembly line with tinted windows. SUV's, Crossovers, MPV's, and trucks are another story.
It is our opinion that Pennsylvania's Penndot is very unfair to the owners of passenger cars. While some states clearly allow tinted windows to a certain percentage, Pennsylvania's Penndot flat out DENIES car owners. However, if you own an SUV, MPV, or Truck you can have them as dark as you want! As long as the windows are behind the driver.
So if you just had a newborn and you want a vehicle with legally tinted windows in the State of PA you are FORCED to buy a SUV, MPV, crossover, or truck in Pa.
Is that fair to the Consumer? You Decide.
