TRANSFERABLE AUTOMOTIvE WARRANTY PLUS
Thank you for choosing high-quality Solar Gard® automotive window film from Bekaert Specialty Films, LLC, (hereinafter referred to as “Bekaert”), an industry leader for more than three decades.

In the unlikely event that the Bekaert film you have purchased should experience adhesive failure, bubbling, cracking, crazing, delamination, demetallization, peeling, excessive unusual change of color, or any other failure due to manufacturer’s defect, Bekaert will provide replacement film and reasonable labor charges provided that reimbursement does not exceed the amount of the original invoice. For purposes of this warranty, the original invoice amount includes the price of the original film, and installation labor paid at the time of the original installation.
PAYMENT OF LABOR FOR PARTIAL WINDOW FILM REPLACEMENT WILL BE PRORATED BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF DEFECTIvE FILM REPLACED AND THE AMOUNT CHARGED FOR INSTALLATION IN THE ORIGINAL INVOICE. This warranty applies to:
• Independent window film dealer or installer who purchases the film from Bekaert or who sells the film;
• Any individual, company, business or entity that purchased the film from an independent window film dealer; and
• Subsequent vehicle purchaser, who, for a fee (see section E below) may transfer the warranty on a one-time basis only, provided that the warranty is transferred within five (5) years of the original installation of the film, and the purchaser is the first owner to possess the vehicle after the original window film purchaser. Additionally, the duration of the transferred warranty is for five (5) years from the original date of installation. Transferring the warranty changes the duration of warranty coverage. Under no circumstance shall the transfer warranty period exceed five (5) years from original date of installation.
To facilitate warranty claims, Sections “A” through “F” of this document should be completed in a timely manner by the dealer (at the time of receipt), customer (at the time of film purchase) and subsequent vehicle purchaser (at the time of transfer of the vehicle). RETAIN THIS COMPLETED DOCUMENT WITH PROOF OF PURCHASE IN YOUR RECORDS.
SCOPE OF COvERAGE
Unless transferred, the warranty period is for the life of the vehicle and begins on the date the original film was installed. Bekaert shall not be liable for any loss, damage, expense or cost caused or partially caused through:
1. Improper film installation, film care, cleaning, or abuse, or glass breakage;
2. The quality of the installation performed by the independent window film dealer;
3. Non-automotive applications and non-complying film uses; and
4. Any other acts, occurrences, defects, faults or damages not associated with the
manufacture of Bekaert window films.
HOW TO MAKE A WARRANTY CLAIM
Prior to having the warranty claim work done by the independent window film dealer, all warranty claims must be approved by Bekaert. All payments for warranty service will be made to the independent window film dealer who has been authorized by Bekaert to perform the warranty service pursuant to the terms identified in this document. Bekaert reserves the right to approve the independent window film dealer who will perform the warranty service.
To make a warranty service claim, it is important to follow these steps:
1. All warranty claims must be approved by Bekaert prior to commencement of any
warranty service for manufacturer’s defects.
2. Contact your original installing dealer to initiate a warranty service claim.

3. To process a warranty claim, Bekaert needs the following:
a) Original warranty certificate, transfer warranty certificate or the detailed information contained in them; and
b) Proof of purchase from the installing dealer.
THIS INFORMATION IS BEST PROvIDED BY KEEPING A COPY OF YOUR ORIGINAL INvOICE RECEIPT WITH YOUR ORIGINAL WARRANTY CERTIFICATE.
CUSTOMER PLEASE NOTE
In the event that you may ever need to process a warranty claim, Bekaert will need the information contained in Sections “A” through “F” of this document. Please review the document and be sure it is completed by the dealer, by the customer, and in the case coverage is transferred to a subsequent purchaser of the vehicle,
by the new owner of the vehicle.
WARRANTIES THAT ARE NOT LEGIBLE AND/OR DO NOT PROVIDE COMPLETE INFORMATION MAY DELAY PROCESSING OF WARRANTY CLAIMS.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY PROVIDED BY BEKAERT FOR THE SOLAR GARD FILM YOU PURCHASED. IT IS GIVEN IN LIEU OF, AND SUPERSEDES AND REPLACES, ANY OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND/OR AGREEMENTS, INCLUDING ALL WARRANTIES IMPLIED BY LAW, SUCH AS THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT THAT APPLICABLE LAW PROHIBITS THE LIMITATION, EXCLUSION OR DISCLAIMER OR ANY SUCH IMPLIED WARRANTIES, REMEDIES OR AGREEMENTS. IN THE EVENT OF ANY DEFECT IN, OR FAILURE OF, THE PRODUCT, OR IN THE EVENT THE PRODUCT FAILS TO PERFORM AS REPRESENTED OR EXPECTED, BEKAERT’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE OBLIGATION IS TO PROVIDE REPLACEMENT FILM AND PAY FOR REPLACEMENT LABOR SUBJECT TO THE LIMITATIONS SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY. IN NO EVENT SHALL BEKAERT BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OTHER COSTS, EXPENSES, LOSSES OR DAMAGES (REGARDLESS OF WHETHER THEY ARE DEEMED TO BE DIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL) THAT ARE IN ANY WAY RELATED TO THE FILM, THE QUALITY OF THE FILM, THE USE OF THE FILM, ANY DEFECT IN THE FILM OR ANY FAILURE OF THE FILM TO PERFORM AS REPRESENTED OR EXPECTED. BEKAERT IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY GLASS BREAKAGE. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY CAN ONLY BE MODIFIED BY A WRITTEN AGREEMENT SIGNED BY AN OFFICER OF BEKAERT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. ALSO, SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS. IN THESE JURISDICTIONS THE ABOVE-IDENTIFIED LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS.
