Most Remote Start Installs Require 2 Keys for programming.

It amazes me to no end. I just can't believe how many customers buy a preowned vehicle and get one key! If you or someone you know is going to buy a new car I offer this advice. Do NOT drive the car off the dealer lot until YOU GET 2 keys from the dealership! When you only have 1 key, only the dealership can program you an extra key! (average price $100) The dealership has the expensive computers to make this happen. (ENORMIS has the GM and Ford computers).
Once you have 2 keys you now have the power to program extra keys in your driveway.
Are you thinking about buying a European car? You need to take this VERY seriously.
