When Brodie wants to remote start the vehicle at work, he simply takes out his phone and presses Start on his Drone Mobile app. Within seconds, he has confirmation that the Tundra is running. He doesn’t even have to go near a window. For short-distance remote starting, like at home, Brodie simply takes the Toyota keyless entry remote and presses the lock button three times to start the Toyota Tundra. Are we saying there are no extra remotes to carry? Yep — nothing extra.
Brodie’s fiancée’s 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is also getting a smartphone app remote start!. Both vehicles can be listed on the app and Brodie and his fiancée can start each other’s vehicles. Also, if someone’s head hits the pillow a little earlier, the other one can pick up their own phone and lock the doors on their vehicle. How cool is that? We think it’s pretty cool.
