Jeff of Erie, Pa had heard of ENORMIS from friends and relatives. With winter approaching, Jeff was considering a remote start for his new 2019 Acura ILX. So he called ENORMIS and spoke with our Remote Start Expert Tony Horton.
Jeff did not want to carry another remote, he has enough stuff in his pocket! Tony explained how our vehicle-specific remote starts would work from his factory Acura key fob!
Jeff also wanted a vehicle specific wiring installed on his Honda. He did not want “universal remote start wiring”. Tony explained that we would install Acura specific wiring and software.
Lastly, Jeff wanted the engine to stay running when he opens his door on the Acura ILX. Tony explained that the remote start would allow the engine to stay running after entering the vehicle! Wow! That’s 3 for 3!
Jeff scheduled for a morning drop-off appointment. Our MECP certified technician Art Dougan performed the remote start installation. Jeff was able pickup his vehicle on his lunch break and be back to work to finish his day. Upon pick-up, Tony walked him through the operation of the remote start so Jeff would be comfortable using it. Once the Acura is remote started, Jeff can enter the vehicle and press the brake to take over the vehicle and safely drive away. No engine interruption and No additional remotes! Exactly what Jeff was hoping for.
