Vince, a West Millcreek resident and long time ENORMIS Mobile Specialties customer wanted to surprise his wife with the gift of warmth! Earlier, Vince and his wife had purchased a 2019 Dodge Journey. Unfortunately, the 2019 Journey did not come with a remote start or heated seats. Fortunately, Vince’s wife was going on a trip to see her daughter. So, Vince decided it was a perfect time to surprise her with the upgrades to the vehicle!
2019 Journey Remote Start Works from Miles Away
Vince called and spoke with our Integration Specialist Doug Reichert about the upgrades. In response, Doug asked Vince particulars about the vehicle and his remote start needs. Doug found, Vince’s wife needs long range remote start capability at work. So, Doug recommended the factory start with smartphone app. Vince liked the idea of not having to carry another remote and still being able to remote start the vehicle without using the phone. In detail, if Vince wants to start the vehicle short range, he simply presses the lock button on his existing remote 3 times to start or stop the Jeep’s engine. For Long range, Vince or his wife simply pull out their smart phone, laptop, tablet, or desktop computer to start the vehicle! Also, the smartphone app uses the lightning fast LTE Drone Mobile Software. Vince was all in on the remote start!
Heated Seats Make the Drive so much Nicer
Doug sent Vince pictures of the what the heated seat installation would look like. Doug did that because, we have previous Journey’s on our website. Once Vince saw the pics, the entire Heated Seat project was a go. After all, Vince loved the fit and finish of the 6 position heated seat dials! He really liked how the blue backlighting of the dials blended into the vehicle’s existing backlighting. So, Vince and Doug agreed to schedule for a two-day dropoff at our store while his wife was out of town.
After it was dropped off, MECP certified technician Art Dougan was assigned the installation and had the vehicle done in the same day. Vince came the next morning to pick the vehicle up where Doug was happy to assist him in registering the Drone Mobile account. A final demonstration of the remote start and heated seats was given and Vince was able to get the vehicle back home in plenty of time for his wife’s return.
