Gary made the decision to purchase a 2019 Sorento LX. However, it was missing heated seats. So, Kyle at the local dealership worked heated seats into the final price. After that, Kyle called Tony Horton at ENORMIS.
2019 Sorento Heated Seat Install gets MECP installation
Tony scheduled an appointment for the 2019 Sorento heated seat install to be dropped off for the day. Because, in order to do a high quality Heated seat installation you need some time! But, it’s not too big a project for our MECP-certified technicians Art Dougan and Ken Whiteman. In detail, the installation requires complete removal of the front seats. Furthermore, all wiring is cleanly hidden. It is hidden underneath the seats, carpeting and center console.
Heated Seat Switches and Their Placement is Important
Technician Ken found a perfect position for the heated seat controls. He found an area in the lower center console. This is important because, both driver and passenger will be able to select the heat they prefer. These switches feature our six-position temperature control. In contrast, other shops will place switches on the sides of the seat. Because, it’s easier that way and saves time. Also in contrast, many other switches are only a 2-heat position switch.
After re-installing the seats to the Kia Sorento, they were tested for proper operation, and the vehicle was ready to go. Gary was surprised by how fast the seats warm up and loved the discreet switch location.
