Client Adds Remote Start and Vehicle Monitoring to 2016 Mazda CX-5

Ron, a Harborcreek resident and repeat ENORMIS Mobile Specialties client, was interested in a remote start for his 2016 Mazda CX-5. The family needed a vehicle to get to and from school and activities. He wanted to surprise the family with a remote start since the Mazda is parked in the driveway overnight and will be used by a busy family. Ron stopped by the store and spoke with Doug Reichert, our integration expert, who went over all of the options for the vehicle. Ron chose our OE Factory Start v5, which allows the user to remote start the vehicle by pressing the factory Mazda key fob lock button three times for short-range starting. (Our Factory Start v5 also allows us to use a Mazda vehicle-specific remote start wiring harness during the installation. Guess what? We had one in stock!)

When Doug was showing Ron all of the remote start options for the CX-5, he also showed Ron the Drone Mobile smartphone app.

On the day of the installation, Ron decided to add the smartphone app to the remote start installation. The Drone Mobile app will not only allow Ron, his wife,and all the children to remote start the vehicle from their cellphones, but it also allows Ron to add GPS tracking, geo-fencing and speed monitoring to the vehicle. That will let Ron and his wife keep an eye on the kids and their activities. What time did they make it to school? What time did they leave? No one is answering their phone … Where is the vehicle! It is all possible with the smartphone app!

Ron simply dropped the vehicle off at the store around lunchtime and picked the vehicle back up before we closed. Doug registered Ron’s smartphone app and demonstrated all the features of the factory key fob and how to use the phone app. Now, not only do the kids have a remote start to warm the vehicle up in the morning or after school, but Ron and his wife can rest a little easier when the kids are driving, thanks to the GPS locator on the Drone Mobile smartphone app.
