A local Buick/GMC dealership was looking to add heated seats to a 2018 Buick Regal TourX luxury sportwagon. Their customer was sold on the vehicle and the Regal was loaded with features — it had remote start, navigation, blind spot monitoring and more. But it lacked one feature: heated seats. The dealer called the automotive electrical experts at ENORMIS.

The Buick dealer arranged to drop off the TourX at ENORMIS. Technician Ken removed the seat assemblies from the vehicle, took off the upholstery covers, and installed the carbon fiber heating elements to the back and bottom of the foam seat cushion. Ken was precise with the element placement so it would not interfere with any airbag sensors or modules.
Once the seat elements were installed, Ken reassembled the seat upholstery.
For heated switch/dial placement, Ken chose a convenient location in the center console, where the seats can be operated by driver or passenger.
Once the elements and dials were installed, Ken wired the heated seat elements to the vehicle. He made sure that the heated seats would come on when the vehicle was remote started. We returned the vehicle to the dealership the next day, in time for them to clean and deliver the vehicle to their customer.
