Brian from Erie, PA, had just purchased a 2018 Toyota RAV4 and sent an e-mail inquiry to us. Doug Reichert, our product and integration specialist, quickly responded via e-mail with options for this new RAV4.
Brian did not have to start his vehicle from long distances, so he chose our simple one-button system with about 1,000 feet of range. This remote start is nice because it performs three functions from one button. One press of the button locks his doors, two presses will unlock the doors, and a simple press and hold for 4 seconds starts the vehicle from up to 1,000 feet away.
The remote start was under budget, so he decided to surprise his children with a remote start as well. Doug scheduled the remote starts on consecutive days and Brian dropped his children’s 2012 Jeep Patriot off on Monday morning. Later that day, he picked up the Jeep Patriot and left us his 2018 RAV4 for the next day’s installation.
When Brian came to pick up the vehicles, Doug gave him a tutorial on each remote start for the different vehicles.
