A local Erie, PA-area Ford dealer needed a rear backup camera for a customer. This particular Ford F-250 pickup truck had no color screen in the dash to display a rear camera image. The dealer was concerned about how the rear camera would look and how the image would be displayed. They wanted it to look “factory installed.”
Enormis Mobile Specialties was up to the challenge. The first order of business was the camera. We installed a camera high up from the road to avoid damage from road debris and salt. The camera features a 170-degree extended view for full behind-vehicle safety and is housed in a powder-coated aluminum housing. The camera also features a three-year warranty.
Second was a new auto-dim rearview mirror to display the rear camera image.
