A client from Corry recently contacted ENORMIS Mobile Specialties to inquire about options for GMC Sierra fog lights. The client, Rob, had recently purchased the truck and while he liked the overall package, he wanted additional lighting. The dealer told him lights couldn’t be added because there wasn’t a kit available. Thankfully, one of Rob’s friends told him to call the electrical experts at ENORMIS. Factory Quality Lighting Solution
Rob called the store and spoke with Doug Reichert, our Product and Integration Specialist. Doug gathered the information he needed about the truck and set to work finding a solution for the client. After looking up all the parts required to perform the installation, we let Rob know what it would cost to retrofit factory lighting into the truck. Rob gave us the go-ahead to order the parts we needed and schedule an appointment.
GMC Sierra Fog Lights Upgrade
We ordered the lights, chrome trim rings and a new light switch for the truck. When Rob arrived, we tasked Art Dougan and Mike Macaluso, two of our MECP Certified technicians, with the project of installing the new components and reprogramming the factory computer to work with the new lights. As you can see, the new switch includes an option for the fog lights.
Two-Way Remote Starter System
Rob also inquired about adding a remote car starter to his 2016 GMC Sierra. After talking to him about where he parks the vehicle, we suggested “The Quad” remote car starter with keyless entry. This system includes a two-way, one-button remote control that offers up to a half-mile of range. The two-way communication lets Rob know when the command sent from the remote has been received at the vehicle and executed. The remote chimes and flashes a bright LED when the truck has started, or the doors are locked or unlocked.
