A local Chevy dealership wanted to add a remote start to a 2019 Chevy Trax. Chevy does not offer an accessory remote start for the Trax. The salesman, Brandon, called and spoke with Doug Reichert, our integration specialist, about adding the remote start. Doug offered Brandon a couple of options, including the Factory Start with a one-button remote control. The wiring for this remote start is specific to this Chevy Trax and it uses custom plugs and wire harnesses.
This Trax got the one-way one-button remote, which offers up to 3/10 of a mile range and three functions from one button. This Factory Start one-way remote will start the vehicle, lock the doors and unlock the doors from up to 3/10 of a mile away. Brandon arranged for the owner to drop the vehicle off at the dealership, and he brought the vehicle to ENORMIS. Brandon picked the vehicle up later in the day once we were done with it, and Doug demonstrated the remote start to him, so he could clearly explain the simple operation to his customer.
