Betty, a Kane, PA, resident and first-time ENORMIS Mobile Specialties customer, made a two-hour trip to our shop for her remote start.
Betty sent an e-mail request to ENORMIS regarding a remote start for her brand-new 2018 Acura RDX. She had asked her friends in Kane who should work on her Acura for a remote start. All her friends said to take it to the remote start experts at ENORMIS in Erie. This was Betty’s first new vehicle of her life and she trusted Erie’s Remote Start Experts with the vehicle.
Doug Reichert, our integration specialist, received the e-mail and sent Betty a reply within hours of receiving it. Doug explained that ENORMIS only uses the most up-to-date hardware for remote starts. We would give Betty’s RDX vehicle-specific harnessing and software. Doug even sent Betty pictures of an installation we just did on another 2018 Acura RDX. Since Betty was coming all the way from Kane, Doug arranged a time she could drop off the vehicle and meet some friends at the Millcreek Mall for some Christmas shopping while we did the installation. She arrived in Erie on a Friday afternoon around 1 p.m.
We tasked MECP-certified technician Ken Whiteman with the installation and he used the newest products available for the vehicle: the Factory Start v5 with optional two-way .6 mile range of remote control. This remote control will notify Betty if her vehicle is outside, running or not.
